Eawy and Arques Forest 

This forest massif (pronounce éavi) of 7 000 ha, whose part(party) is situated on the territory of the Country(Soil) of Callus, fires his(her,its) name of old French " eave ", which means " wet ground ". Indeed, it is a clear forest on a wet ground of silt and clay with flint where abound puddles. Situated on the hill which separates the valleys of Varenne and Béthune, the forest of Eawy is trained(formed) by three massifs: in the North, the forest of the Fang(Hook), then the forest of Tablecloths and finally, the forest of Eawy itself. The latter goes along(follows) the valley of Varenne.

Boutonnière of Pays de Bray

Le Pays de Bray s'étend du Vexin normand aux confins de l'IDF à ceux de la Manche, entre les plateaux de Picardie et du Pays de Caux. Par un important phénomène géologique des ères secondaires et tertiaires et un plissement a fait apparaître collines et cuestas qui se sont érodées au fil du temps. 

Entre les collines calcaires, une plaine argileuse drainée de nombreux cours d'eau. Ces caractéristiques géographiques ont contribué à préserver le pays brayon toujours pour partie constituée de bocage. La route des paysages du Pays de Bray permet de découvrir la richesse géographique, faunistique et floristique.

Ferme de Bray Sommery
